There are many systems that have to do with the weed production, starting with the seeds.
Seed
You need seeds in order to plant the plant, right? You can obtain these through:
- The Seed man’s plantation.
- Ordering seeds (pick up at the Seed man).
- From plants you planted yourself. You’ll get more seeds from the Seed man’s plants while your own plants produce more product.
Seed man
You ain’t the first person who wanted to start planting weed and this guy nicknamed Seed man already has a network of contacts (including for rare weed seeds), a full plantation and can move his plantation quickly when necessary.
You can either:
- Work for him:
- By harvesting the plants in full.
- Delivering it to him for a percentage of what you harvested and some Black money.
- Steal from him:
- You won’t gain Black money but you will keep the full harvest.
- However doing this will put you into his debt.
- You can pay him off by talking to him, unless you’re wanted by him.
- Having too much debt will put you on a Wanted list.
Processing a weed plant will get you Weed seeds and Weed buds. The Seed man also sells utilities for weed plants and such.
Seed man facilities
He sells utilities to help you grow your own plants in his shop. He can also help you getting rare seeds, he will look for rare seeds and give you a Heist so you can get them.
Wanted list
You can check the wanted list when talking to the Seed man and see what they are owed and the reward for bringing them in (you will be redirected to the Recovery job). If you are part of a Criminal organization the organization and do things that can put you on the wanted list will also penalize the organization.
If YOU are on the wanted list, you can pay the Seed man back by walking towards him with your hands up. If you don’t, he will see it as you coming to steal off his land again and will try to hunt you down.
You can also let someone else pay for your wanted status, up to you.
Planting
If you don’t want to be planting with seeds skip this.
You’re gonna need a place to plant these plants without being noticed. If cops see these plants they will destroy them or set you up so they can arrest you.
Plantation
If you are part of a Criminal organization, you can build a Plantation in your Turf.
Solo planting
If not, you’re gonna have to plant the weed outside which leaves it vulnerable to:
- Stealing
- Cops spotting it and destroying it
- Less harvest overall
Stealing other player’s plants
You are totally free to harvest other people’s plants but it’s a dick move. But hey! Being a dick is also role-play.
Grow site
If you want best of both worlds and don’t mind to lowering your profits you can buy a pot at a secured shared grow site from the Seed man. This site contains:
- Armed guards.
- Which will shoot anyone seeing breaking in or stealing from others.
- Pots to plant seeds in.
- Automatic notifications when something happens.
You are responsible for your plant. If the cops show up it’s on YOU to safe your plant. The guards will engage the cops to protect their location and delay destroying the plants. You need to move your ass over to the plantation to assist and save your plants or leave it to die. The guards will retreat if they lost 51% of the location to the cops.
Breaking in
You can break into the grow site (or spot harvesting someone else their weed) however you like but if a guard spots you:
- They will attempt to neutralize you
- If you are neutralized or captured:
- You may be identified
- You will be removed from the area and left far enough from the grow site.
- All customers will get notified of what happened (including your ID if they got that).
Further more you have debt added to you by the Seed man and will refuse to work with you until you pay it back.
Packing
Once you harvested from your plant you need to pack it.
Solo packing
If you are solo, you can just pack them in zip lock bags, also sold by the Seed man or anywhere else they sell it.
Plantation packing station
The Plantation from a Criminal organization has a packing station to pack product in batch. Or you can automate it with a Worker.
